Erin Meyers Art

Erin Meyers is an award-winning fine artist and environmental scientist whose work explores the intersection of natural science and intuitive expression. With a formal academic background in biochemistry and marine ecology, complemented by a fine art minor pursued under an artistic scholarship, Meyers brings a unique, scientifically-informed perspective to her creative practice.

Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, her lifelong proximity to the ocean ignited a deep reverence for nature, which remains the central pillar of her work. Meyers translates this passion into surreal and whimsical depictions of wildlife and ecosystems, advocating for environmental and cultural awareness through the power of artistic expression. This advocacy has earned her recognition from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for her contribution to conservation.

As an intuitive painter, Meyers’s process is one of surrender to the creative flow, resulting in artwork that exudes raw authenticity and a distinctive neurodivergent perspective. Her acclaimed work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Northeast Florida since 2004, including ongoing representation in Jacksonville and St. Augustine.

Beyond the gallery wall, Meyers is a dedicated community member. She is a member of FemArt Gallery and regularly participates in local events like Amplified Avondale. She also facilitates intuitive painting workshops, sharing her magnetic passion for the creative process and providing practical guidance for others to unlock their own authentic creativity.
